Plough Grinding

Plough grinding, also known as Lumsden grinding, uses abrasive segments of stone to achieve the bulk removal of material from steel to give a clean and precise finish. Generally, this is an additional process complementing our flame cutting service, but it can also be used independently. This method is ideal for mild steel but it can also be used to grind other steel. It is widely renowned as the most efficient and accurate method of bulk metal removal.

At B & S Steel Supply, we understand that different methods are required for different types and thicknesses of materials, which is why we offer a complete service to all of our clients. Regardless of your requirements, we’re committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction, so you can rely on us to complete a first rate job – no matter what the size or type of material.

If you’d like to know more about our plough grinding methods, or if you’d like to discuss your plans with a professional, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
