Laser Steel Cutting

Laser steel cutting is ideal for precision work because it is easily controlled and able to cut parts with a tolerance of less than 0.130mm. Laser cutting produces detailed work such as external detail, etching and small diameter holes. The localised heat distortion is reduced, and a polished edge can be achieved using a nitrogen assisted gas.

This type of cutting is available for bespoke orders of individual parts or production runs, and as it’s one of our fastest types of cutting, it’s ideal for orders with a short turnaround time.
